Welcome to OpenMorpho
This site is dedicated to OpenMorpho, an open source morphological library.
In short morphology is a branch of image analysis which analyses images as sets.
We are in the alpha stage of development. We intend to put on this site
The very first documentation is available
Mailing lists:
Mathematical Morphology Links
Courses
Jean Serra course on Mathematical Morphology. In English, French, and Spanish.
Marc Van Droogenbroeck course on Image Processing. In French.
Documentation
Pierre Soille'home page. You will find here the reference for an excellent book on mathematical morphology.
cmm.ensmp.fr. The web pages of the Mathematical Morphology Center at the Ecole des Mines, Fontainebleau, the place which gave birth to Mathematical Morphology.
Serge Beucher Pages on Watershed. Interesting pages, to my opinion a bit too dedicated to the work done at the CMM.
ESIEE PSI Publications. Some of them are online.
Henk Heijmans home page. Some papers are available on line. This site is the home page of the Morphology Digest, a newsletter dedicated to Mathematical Morphology.
Luc Vincent's papers, I can only mention that you should read them.
Laurent Najman's papers. Should I mention them?
Software
The Stony Brook Algorithm Repository. Intended to serve as a comprehensive collection of algorithm implementations.
A khoros toolbox for Mathematical Morphology. An old version with source code of a khoros plug-in.
Olena, a C++ library dedicated to image processing, dealing in a generic way with various image data structures (1D, 2D, 3D, ...) and different data types (integer, float, color,...). Contains a good morphological library.
